HOSPITAL LUSÍADAS LISBOA

Challenge: Hospital Lusíadas Lisboa, a leading hospital in Portugal, has been asserting itself for its ability to respond to the challenges of the evolution of medicine and the needs of those looking for its health services. With the emerging need for sanitary control and prevention of the spread of diseases (namely from COVID-19), the challenge was to guarantee the public health of hospital users and employees, keeping people safer and more informed while attending hospital care areas.

Solution: Installation of several Hygistation units, the hand hygiene kiosk and body temperature measurement. A combined Wingsys solution, which incorporates an information display, an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser and the body temperature measurement function, while validating the correct use of the face mask.

Results: Thanks to contactless use, Hygistation Kiosks provided greater safety and hygiene for users and employees of Hospital Lusíadas Lisboa. As they are a very effective technological solution in preventing the transmission of diseases, especially in areas with a large number of people, they are used as strategic points of disinfection by dozens of people who walk the hospital corridors daily. Thus, levels of health care worthy of excellence were maintained, offering greater security to all.
